LockerQuest trebles the number of parcel lockers in 12 months

Parcel locker location experts, LockerQuest has seen the number of lockers installed through their space partner network grow from 200 to 600

Parcel locker location experts, LockerQuest has seen the number of lockers installed through their space partner network grow from 200 to 600 in their first 12 months of operation.

LockerQuest commercialise unused or underutilised space through the installation of B2C and B2B lockers, creating new revenue and customer footfall.

During the past 12 months a number of new partnerships have been created to support the increased demand of parcel lockers and existing partnerships have also been maximised to expand the number of lockers that have been installed.

Jonathan White CEO of LockerQuest said, “I am delighted with our first year following the transition of 200 lockers from Infinium Logistics back in June 2023. The next 12 months is looking very positive with many new sites currently going through approvals and new space partners coming onboard.”

“We have a number of solutions available in our locker (excuse the pun) to deliver increased revenue and footfall. This includes the YEEP! parcel locker, which is an open network, battery powered and freestanding locker. Because these are battery powered, they are much easier to find a location on a site which is visible, accessible and safe to use. The ByBox B2B locker is also battery operated and during the past 12 months we have implemented over 550 metres of these lockers ranging between 3 and 25 metres.”

“At LockerQuest we are gearing up to reach over 1,200 lockers in the next 12 months, but there are some exciting developments taking place which could see these numbers dramatically increase.”

In this year’s Out of Home Delivery in Europe report published by Lastmile Experts, it was noted that there were 154,900 unique parcel lockers throughout Europe which was a 22% increase on 2022. In the UK there are currently over 15,000 parcel lockers with lots of growth planned.
With the rapid growth of e-commerce, the number of parcels shipped B2C and C2C continues to grow. Customers are looking for a convenient way to collect, send and return their online purchases and using a parcel locker is the go-to solution, especially for people born between 1965 and 2012.
