LockerQuest announce new partnership with Shift Collect
LockerQuest have announced a new strategic partnership with Shift Collect to bring their multi-retailer parcel lockers to sites nationwide.
Shift Collect’s parcel lockers are specifically designed to accommodate large and bulky items, targeted at major retailers such as IKEA, to provide convenient collection points for furniture, home improvement products and other large items.
LockerQuest’s partnership with Shift Collect has facilitated the installation of parcel lockers across five sites including Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) train stations, NCP car park locations and Staines Ruby Club with additional installations planned in the coming months.
LockerQuest CEO Jonathan White commented: “Our partnership with Shift Collect represents an exciting development in the large delivery solutions space. Shift’s specialised parcel lockers for bulky items address a real consumer pain point- the inconvenience of waiting at home for delivery of items including furniture and other bulky items.
“The installation of these lockers at locations like train stations, car parks and sporting venues ensure maximum convenience for consumers who can collect their purchases close to where they live or go. This partnership demonstrated our commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of both our space partners and retailers who deal with larger items that traditional lockers cannot accommodate.”
James Moore, CEO at Shift Platform – the company behind Shift Collect, added: “Working with LockerQuest has enabled us to expand our network into prime locations that serve thousands of consumers daily. Their expertise in site selection and management has been invaluable in identifying the optimal locations for our large item parcel lockers. This partnership supports our mission to make collecting oversized purchases more convenient and accessible, giving customers complete control over when they collect their items.”
Shift Collect’s secure, weatherproof lockers enable consumers to access their orders at a convenient time and utilising AI powered delivery via their mobile app with real time tracking.
LockerQuest’s comprehensive service approach manages the entire process from initial site surveys through to installation and ongoing maintenance, ensuring seamless integration for space partners. The company’s expertise in space commercialization and regulatory approvals streamlines the deployment process for multiple locker brands across various location types.
The collaboration with Shift Collect adds to LockerQuest’s growing portfolio of partnerships, which includes established relationships with YEEP!, Amazon, and Thinventory. The company has now installed more than 1,150 lockers across diverse locations including shopping centres, convenience stores, train stations, car parks, hotels, and leisure facilities throughout the UK.
LockerQuest continues to actively seek new space partners and hosts interested in generating additional revenue through parcel locker installations.
