More than 100 convenience stores across the UK are receiving guaranteed income from YEEP! parcel lockers thanks to installation support from parcel locker location experts LockerQuest.
In the past six months independent retailers who are members of various symbol groups, including Premier, Nisa, SPAR, Londis, Best-one, Costcutter, Go Local, One Stop, Bargain Booze and Family Shopper, have partnered with LockerQuest to make the most of unused space and receive new revenues from installing lockers.
LockerQuest helps businesses and property owners generate additional income by brining lockers to unused or underutilised space and increasing customer footfall, managing the process from surveys through to installation and providing ongoing account management.
The lockers offer convenient parcel drop-off and pick-up services for carriers and consumers in their local communities. With no cost to install or maintain, site hosts receive a guaranteed annual income, plus the potential for new customer footfall to generate additional sales and boost brand awareness.
LockerQuest CEO Jonathan White commented: “Our rollout of YEEP! parcel lockers across convenience stores has been very successful to date, with excellent feedback from retailers.
“Our site hosts, known as space partners, receive an annual guaranteed rental income for each parcel locker installed, with no costs and no impact on day-to-day operations. Space partners benefit from a single project approach, allowing multiple locker brands to be installed at their sites using a single survey and approval process.
“We can provide one licence agreement for multiple locations and multiple lockers and offer one line of communication for all lockers, a single payment solution and detailed reporting. We make it easy for retailers to continually develop their locations as parcel lockers increase throughout the UK.”
Independent retailer Andrew Newton, who operates Nisa Local Colley Gate in Halesowen, said: “We are really pleased with our new YEEP! lockers. Customers are commenting on how easy they are to use and how convenient it is being able to collect, send or return a parcel at any time.
“Despite being new to our site, the lockers are already very popular and are definitely helping us to attract new customers, with many people popping in to buy something from our store after picking up or dropping off a parcel. With our single point of contact at LockerQuest, the lockers were really easy to install and are maintenance free.”
LockerQuest provides comprehensive service solutions for the out-of-home delivery sector, focusing on expanding the installation of parcel lockers to aid in the decarbonisation of logistics. Experts in the commercialisation of space, the business is contracted by parcel locker companies to source and manage locations for their growing networks.
To date LockerQuest has installed more than 950 lockers at locations across the UK, including shopping centres, convenience stores, train stations, car parks, hotels, pubs, leisure centres and student accommodation sites to name a few.
LockerQuest works with brands including YEEP!, Amazon, Shift Collect and Thinventory. A number of new locker partners are in current discussions to take advantage of LockerQuest’s growing list of space partner sites.
